Getting Started
Get up and running with Archivist in three steps.
Create your account
Sign up at mosaic-finance.com/sign-up to get started with 10 free queries.
Open the Archivist
Click Archivist in the navigation bar to open the research assistant.
Ask your first question
Type a question about any Canadian public company's regulatory filings.
Chat Interface
The chat interface is your primary tool for researching regulatory filings. Ask questions in natural language and get AI-generated answers with citations.
Asking Questions
Type your research question in the input bar at the bottom of the screen. Archivist searches through thousands of regulatory filings to find relevant information.
Citation Badges
Responses include numbered citation badges that link to source documents. Click any citation to open the referenced filing in the PDF viewer.
Source Panel
The source panel on the right shows all filings referenced in the conversation, organized by company and filing type. Click any source entry to view the full document.
PDF Viewer
When you click a citation or source entry, the PDF viewer opens with the relevant section highlighted.
Zoom Controls
Use the zoom controls in the PDF toolbar to adjust the view. On touch devices, pinch to zoom is also supported.
Search Within PDF
Use the search bar in the PDF viewer to find specific terms within the currently open document. Matches are highlighted as you type.
Filter Bar
Narrow your search using the filter bar above the chat input.
Company Filter
Type a company name or stock symbol to add a company chip. When a company filter is active, Archivist restricts searches to that company's filings.
Filing Type & Date Range
Filter by filing type (Annual Report, Technical Report, etc.) and date range to focus on specific documents or time periods.
Conversation History
All your conversations are automatically saved and accessible from the sidebar.
Sidebar
The conversation sidebar lists your recent research sessions. Click any conversation to resume it with full context and source documents restored.
Search (Cmd+K)
Press Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K on Windows) to search across all your conversations by title or content.
Export & Download
Copy Messages
Hover over any message and click the copy icon to copy its content to your clipboard. Citations are preserved as markdown links.
Export Markdown
Export an entire conversation as a markdown file, including all citations and source references. Use the export button in the conversation header.
Download PDFs
Download source PDFs directly from the source panel. Click the download icon next to any filing to save it locally.
Account & Billing
Free Tier
Every account includes 10free queries. A counter in the chat interface shows your remaining queries. Once exhausted, you'll be prompted to upgrade.
Upgrading
Upgrade to a subscription from the pricing page or when prompted after using all free queries. Subscriptions provide higher monthly query limits and access to all features.
Dashboard
Manage your subscription, view usage statistics, and update billing details from your dashboard.
